I am SO happy. Came home from work today to find out that our renos are basically finished now. We need to touch up some paint, hang 2 doors and clean up. But that's IT. It's been 5 1/2 weeks already and I am excited to have my house back. And, you know, a place for the baby!
Who can come anytime now, by the way. I know I am only 35 weeks, but dang. I am just eager to meet her!
My birthday is coming up in 3 days, which is not a big deal for me. I've been asking for one thing for the past few years - a birthday cake with MY name on it. As someone who had been decorating cakes for other people for 4+ years, it would be nice to see a cake that says, "Happy Birthday Meghan!" Silly? Probably. Still want it though. :P
YAY RENOS FINISHED MOSTLY!!!!!! I'm so excited for you guys :D The cleanup will be satisfying since you know it won't just be getting drywall dust all over it again, haha.
