This is a small glimpse of Wyatt's Matchbox/Hot Wheels collection (yes, it's in a tackle box). We have fire trucks, ambulances, taxis, ice cream trucks, armoured trucks, helicopters, airplanes, semis, and on and on. What I learned today is that there is a method to playing with these trucks. You can't simply pick one up and pretend to drive it around. Oh, no. The owner of these little trucks will select one for you, and you must wait for his directive. Perhaps you might think that a taxi would drive around on the table. You would be wrong. The taxi flies in the air. It is a really complicated game, and I don't think that Wyatt will be asking me to play again.Today Josh had his controlled burn with the fire department. I'm not sure if it was because it was a long day (almost 11 hours), because of the heat, maybe he didn't eat or drink enough, but he did not look well when he came home. He took his shoes off and crawled right into bed, where he remains, 3 hours later. I assume he is down for the night - hopefully he feels better tomorrow!
