How did it become September already? Yikes. With a new month comes new behaviours, and apparently a new fondness for his baby sister. He asked me to put her in his bed and was telling her all sorts of stories. And then he piled all of his stuffed animals on top of her, ha ha.
Today Wyatt got to bring cupcakes to daycare to celebrate his birthday - he even helped me decorate. We went super low effort - cake mix and canned icing (the horrors!), but toddlers aren't terribly discerning so I wasn't too worried.
Tomorrow is his 3 year check up and Saturday is his birthday party at the firehall. He is so excited, I hope it doesn't overwhelm him when it actually happens. I'm working on the details for the party - candy buffet, banners, temporary tattoos...hopefully I find time to enjoy the party too. ;)
This picture is WICKED adorable! I'm glad he's getting more accustomed to Paige; maybe they'll even get along when they're teenagers, haha!
ReplyDeletePS: Have I mentioned how awesome it is to be remembered by a toddler you don't get to see very much? When I said 'bye to him today at the party, he gave me a hug and a kiss :) Happy (tomorrow) birthday, my not-so-little muffin!
