When we were at a friend's son's 1st birthday party about 2 weeks ago, the photographer there grabbed this shot of Paige and I. I just love it!I am very excited for tomorrow - I get to go golfing! Hooray! Friday we're going to attempt to hit up the beach in the morning, and maybe have a picnic. Saturday I get to treat myself by heading into Winnipeg for brunch and gelati with my mom and sister. We've been doing these little excursions (usually lunch and shopping) for a while now, and I really look forward to them. Not only is it MY time (I can listen to the same Beyonce song on repeat all the way into the city if I want to, ha ha), but over the years I have definitely come to think of my mom and sister as not just family, but friends too (bet you never thought that was possible when Kaeleigh and I were teens, right mom?). My family has a dry (warped?) sense of humour, and not everyone "gets" it, so it's nice to be with people who do. I maintain that it was repeated viewings of Monty Python from age 7 and up that made me the way I am. ;)

ReplyDeleteHaha that's why I love driving by myself sometimes too...although for me it's listening to the satellite radio really loudly and singing along to everything that comes up.
And I say again: this picture is so beautiful, that photographer has a good eye!
