This is the new carrier that I ordered, the Babyhawk Mei Tai. Seems to be working so far, although today I couldn't figure out why she was crying so much in it until I looked down and saw that she had spit up all over both of us. Hooray. The only issue I have with this one is that newborns have to sit in the "frog" position and Paige constantly pushes herself up this way. It slowly loosens the tie around the waist, and with all of her squirming, her feet start to poke out the bottom. Soon enough she'll be able to sit with her legs out the sides which will eliminate that problem though.

No kid pictures today - Wyatt has a wicked head cold and Paige cried all. bloody. day. Not something I needed photographic proof of!

She's so sweet. :) Yesterday was a day of eating all day, today was a day of sleeping all day. 6 week growth spurt anyone? I'm hoping we don't pay for the all day snoozefest tonight!

We spent part of the afternoon outside, Josh and I were weeding out the flower beds in the front yard, and making a 4th (5th? 10th?) attempt to pull out the creeper vines. Those things are AWFUL. While we were working, so was Wyatt! He used sidewalk chalk on the driveway, the Taurus, the van, the front door, the garage door and the neighbour's Hydro truck (!!). Here he is, showing off his artwork. I was informed that this was his name - I'll have to fill him in later on in life that if he's going to deface buildings, he may not want to leave his actual name.
