3.14.13

Life has been a bit of a struggle over the last few months, and the last few weeks have been the worst. Wyatt's been having some mind-boggling tantrums, I've had the worst insomnia I've ever experienced and we're all just so, so tired of winter.  Soon enough we'll be playing in the backyard, swatting mosquitoes, making s'mores, going for long walks, splashing in the puddles, swinging in the hammock...we just have to carry on for now.

  1. Sorry to hear about your insomnia. Have you tried taking melatonin? That helped me for a while (now I actually take a low-dose antidepressant to help me sleep). Insomnia sucks.

    1. I'm on anti-depressants, as well as prescription sleeping pills when needed. Surprisingly, I slept like a rock last night (with no sleeping pill)!

  2. Sucks. Definitely something in the air. I had a big ol' ugly cry already this morning, and a few medium ones since.

  3. Ugh, sick of winter over here too. Even though our mid-winter getaway was wonderful, being surrounded by so much brown, dirty snow and dead trees gets to me. I'm not a naturally outdoorsy person in the winter so I feel like we hibernate in indoor places. A. has so much energy that staying home is exhausting and she's practically bouncing off the walls by the ends of the day. Sorry these past few weeks have been so rough. :(
